SAM ALTMAN ON THE FUTURE OF AI AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, recently spoke at the Entrepreneurial Thought Leader Seminar hosted by Stanford University, sharing insights into the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) and its implications for entrepreneurship.

Altman discussed his journey from a Stanford undergraduate to becoming a leader at Y Combinator, and eventually co-founding OpenAI, a research organization behind revolutionary AI tools like ChatGPT, DALL-E, and Sora. He highlighted how AI technologies have reached milestones at an unprecedented rate, with ChatGPT attracting 100 million active users just two months after its release.

During his talk, Altman stressed the immense potential and pivotal moments in technology akin to the introduction of the internet. "I think this is probably the best time to start a company since the internet, at least, and maybe kind of like in the history of technology," he remarked, emphasizing the transformative power of AI.
