TOP STORY OF THE WEEK

NEW DALL-E FEATURE ALLOWS YOU TO EDIT YOUR IMAGES

OpenAI has announced a new feature for its DALL-E image generation model that enables users to edit and manipulate existing images.

The update allows DALL-E users to upload an image and then provide text instructions to modify or enhance it. For example, you could upload a photo of a landscape and ask DALL-E to add a hot air balloon in the sky, or change the colour of a building. DALL-E will then generate a new image based on the provided text prompt.

This new editing capability expands the functionality of DALL-E, which was previously limited to generating entirely new images from scratch based on text descriptions. The addition of image editing tools gives users more flexibility to customise and refine visual content.

OpenAI states that the image editing feature is designed to be intuitive and easy to use, allowing even novice creators to experiment with modifying existing images. This could open up new creative possibilities for a wide range of applications, from graphic design to digital art.
